The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who’s most likely to save him or her from bleeding to death. By learning how to Stop the Bleed, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques. The final examination consists of a written exam and a practical test.  The written exam is made up of 50 questions, all of which are “true or false” or “multiple-choice”.  The practical examination consists of a series of actions that the instructor will ask you to perform with various types of firearms in order to demonstrate that you are proficient in the safe handling of firearms in different scenarios.

In order to pass the examination you must get a score of 80% or better on both components of the examination to be able to apply for a Non-restricted Possession and Acquisition License (P.A.L).

Course cost: $50.00.

We try to limit classes to 10 students therefore bookings are on a first come first serve basis.  In order to confirm your spot, full payment for the course must be made upon booking.  In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel, we require notification of cancellation 5 days prior to the course start date.  A full refund will be given if notification of the cancellation is given in time.  Late notifications will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.

S&J Hardware reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to unforeseen circumstances.  If this happens, all students will receive a full refund or a credit applied to another class.

S&J Hardware and its instructors retain the right to deny instruction to any applicant without verbal or written notification of the reason for the denial.  Denied applicants will receive notification of the denial and their tuition reimbursement in full.
